Tyler Christian
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Tyler Christian is a multi-hyphenate artist, singer, performer, songwriter and vocal arranger. As a recent Berklee College of Music Graduate, they spent the last 4 years honing their craft and improving their skills as not only a performer and musician, but also as an arranger, songwriter, and band mate.
Growing up black in Atlanta, Georgia had a huge effect on who they are as a musician and as a person.
With music, they experienced everything from gospel in the church, to old school R&B and Blues on the radio stations and at family cookouts, and even marching band, theater and choir in their later years as a teen and young adult.
At only 23 years old, Tyler has already opened for Jade Novah, who has worked closely with and for Beyoncé, Rihanna and Lady Gaga, and has studied under Grammy nominee Tia Fuller (who most notably is a former saxophone player for Beyoncé) and countless other wonderful musicians during their time in school.
They are no stranger to the Lollapalooza stage, having performed twice, once alongside pop artist AIIDA in 2022 and again as their own act in August of 2023. Tyler’s main joy and love is creating their own music and furthering their artist project, but they discovered that they also have a love for teaching voice, songwriting, and vocal arranging.
Seeing the realizations of former students and friends when something finally clicks is one of the best feelings, and Tyler can’t wait to help more people reach their goals, and experience joy in music.
