Oz Academy of Music, formerly known as Ozcanli Academy, stands as the brainchild of Oguz Can Ozcanli, a distinguished Berklee College of Music graduate and accomplished Film Composer based in Los Angeles.
Here is his words on Oz Academy
During my formative years, as I immersed myself in music lessons, I yearned for the guidance of exceptional musicians who had already carved their niche in the industry.
My aspiration was to gain insights into the music sector and absorb the wisdom of their expertise.
This vision was the inception of Oz Academy of Music — a platform dedicated to providing music lessons led by accomplished musicians, all alumni of Berklee College of Music.
My desire was not only to create a space for learning but also to make it accessible to all. So the idea struck me: "Why not establish an online music school?"
Fast forward three years, and we take immense pride in turning this dream into reality.
Oz Academy of Music now boasts a thriving community of hundreds of students and an exceptional faculty - whose credentials vary from Grammy nominations, collaborations with famous artists like Yo-yo-ma, Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney to composing for major motion pictures - all contributing to the realization of our collective musical aspirations.
No matter what our students goals are, keeping the joy and curiosity of playing an instrument is our philosophy.
