Giulia Ducchi

Giulia Duchi is an Italian violinist, singer-songwriter, pianist, and film composer from Milano. In 2015 she received a scholarship from Berklee College of Music where she majored in Film Scoring and Violin performance and graduated in 2019.She studied violin at the Milano Conservatory for nine years and has been actively performing as a singer-songwriter and violinist in many important venues around Europe and the USA.​

After graduating, Giulia moved to LA where she worked as an intern assistant at Warner Bros for acclaimed composer Trevor Morris (Vikings, The Borgias, etc.).During her year in L.A., she also worked a lot as a music teacher, performer, and songwriter/topliner. She moved back to Italy in 2021 where she mostly focused on writing both for her own project and for media and sync companies such as Marmoset and Closer Music. ​

Since November 2021 she has relocated to Paris where she’s working on her upcoming single with French producer Noé Zagroun and where she’s working as an instructor for the Ozcanli Academy.

Career Highlights

  • Perfomed as first violinist in front of Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot and Alex Lacamoire at the Agganis Arena for the Commencement Concert of the Berklee College of Music

 

  • Selected for the eighth edition of XFactor. During X Factor she performed in two important Italian arenas, in front of more than 5000 people

 

  • Winner of the Golden Disc for the best original song “Please Turn Around”

 

  • Winner of the first edition of the AFI (Italian Phonographic Association) award for young emerging artists in Sanremo

 

  • Played as first violinist at the Boston Symphony Hall with Wang Lehoom.

 

  • Performed with the well-known English musician Jacob Collier at the MIT Kresge Auditorium

 

  • Performed over recording sessions as a violinist, singer and composer
