Paradon Pipatjarasgit
Paradon Pipatjarasgit is a pianist, producer, and songwriter from Sylvania, Ohio, primarily focused on writing, producing, and performing pop, folk, electronic, and hip-hop music. He recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a dual degree in Electronic Production and Design, and Songwriting, graduating magna cum laude.
Paradon is an empathetic and flexible teacher, who emphasizes breaking down the barrier between student and teacher, trying to connect with each student as much as possible. He strives for the right balance of student interest, technique and fundamentals, and creativity for every student he teaches, realizing that each student has different goals and levels of experience.
Paradon started taking classical piano lessons at age six, and despite disliking the structure of formal lessons, continued until the end of middle school. During high school, he pursued music and piano outside of classical music, performing in pit orchestra, string ensemble, and choir. Utilizing the knowledge he gained from his classical lessons, he also explored pop and video game music for piano.
This led him to attend Berklee College of Music, where he studied piano under Jason Yeager, Zahili Gonzales Zamora, and Christian Li. He performed in many ensembles and shows around Berklee in several styles, ranging from pop, r&b, electronic, rock, video game music, and experimental.
During this time he also started writing and producing more frequently, collaborating with other songwriters and producers, as well as working on solo projects. During his time at Berklee, Paradon found many valuable teaching opportunities such as teaching songwriting and production in both small classroom and one-on-one settings.
He was also a core music tutor for two years, working one-on-one with students on subjects in Berklee’s core music curriculum, including music theory, arranging, ear training, composition, and conducting. In his free time, Paradon enjoys playing video games, reading books, spending time outside, and messing around on the piano.
