Linda Zatloukalova
Linda is a songwriter, vocalist, instrumentalist from Boulder, Colorado based in Nashville. Growing up she was involved in choirs from a young age, studying and competing within both classical and contemporary styles. Her love for band and community led her to further her education at School of Rock where she fell in-love with classic rock and performance, managing to join her local House Band and perform on a regular basis. Alongside her rock n roll experience, Linda played in her High School Jazz Band, which led her to pursue Music Theory. With her undevoted love for music, Linda went on to study Songwriting with a minor in American Roots at Berklee College of Music, where she managed to study under esteemed faculty such as Mark Simos, Pat Pattison, and Scarlett Keys.
She was also on the Songwriting Leadership Council at Berklee, where she curate and organized a Roots Songwriting Camp which included placing writers in co-writes, a feedback session with industry professional Jon Weisberger, pitching songs to professional bands/artists, and recording live demos with session musicians. She became well versed in all genres including RnB, Pop, and most favorably, Country, Folk, and Bluegrass. Her favorite artists include George Strait, Alicia Keys, Ella Langley, Van Halen, Zach Top, and so much more. Her constant exploration of new styles brings her to explore genres, learn new techniques and explore on multiple instruments. As a songwriter, Linda writes on both piano and guitar, and even used the DAW to topline and produce. Her drive to become a better songwriter has pushed her to learn multiple instruments, perfect her craft, and learn how to produce her own demos. She has become a pop/country force within Berklee, pushing barriers and exploring modern Country and Bluegrass genres
Being well-versed in production, songwriting, and vocal technique, Linda has most recently been writing with BPMI artists Ryan Mead, co-written with Jon Weisberger, and pitched songs through BMG. Linda is an excited and eager musician who loves to share the craft of music and music making.
