Lizi Nikvashvili

Lizi Nikvashvili is a talented singer-songwriter, pianist, arranger, and producer from Tbilisi, Georgia. Her musical journey began at the age of six when she started classical singing and piano lessons. By the age of twelve, her passion for music had expanded, leading her to perform a diverse array of genres, including polyphonic Georgian music, jazz, RnB, pop, and classical rock. Throughout her youth, Lizi showcased her talents in prestigious singing competitions in countries such as Italy and Switzerland. One of her notable performances was with a choir at the Frankfurt Book Festival in 2018, where she demonstrated her skill in polyphonic music.

In 2020, Lizi took a significant step in her musical career by enrolling at Berklee College of Music. Initially pursuing voice performance, she later discovered a greater passion for composing, arranging, and producing music, leading her to change her major to Contemporary Writing and Production. Her time at Berklee has been marked by several remarkable achievements, including arranging for a big band and composing original pieces for a string quintet and a full orchestra. In 2023, she was one of the arrangers for the musical theater show "Curtain Up," collaborating with other talented Berklee students, alumni, and faculty to bring the production to life. Beyond her academic pursuits, Lizi has been actively involved in charitable events, using her musical talents to support important causes. During the Ukrainian war, she performed at multiple charity events, raising funds and awareness for Ukraine. In 2024, Lizi's dedication to her heritage was showcased when she performed at the Berklee Performance Center during a Middle Eastern festival.

She had the privilege of performing with Giorgi Mikadze, a successful pianist, composer, and arranger, and the renowned electronic artist Tamada, featured in Colors. Currently, Lizi has expanded her focus to include teaching, sharing her knowledge and experience with aspiring students. Additionally, she is working on finishing her EP and writing her musical titled “Whispers on the Silk Road.”
